            Millcreek Home Health and Hospice provides a wealth of services to better care for our patients.

            One such service, home physical therapy, focuses on improving function, strength, gait and dynamic safety in our patients—all in the comfort of their own homes. Instruction regarding the correct use of assistive devices and other tools for improving balance and mobility are given to our patients directly in the residence—a profound help for those who find leaving the home physically and emotionally taxing.

            It is highly appropriate to initiate care in a patient’s home, the earlier the better—very often this approach makes rehabilitation far more successful in the long term.
